Government Champions Nominations Closed

Local Gov 250 received over 350 nominations for our Government Champions initiative. 

Nominees came from 40 states, the District of Columbia and the Northern Mariana Islands. Thirty-nine different government professions were represented.

The coordinating committee will begin its review of nominations in January with the selection of Champions to be announced in early March.

The Government Champions will be recognized at a convening in Philadelphia on May 12, 2026.
